This assessment uses weighted scoring based on relationship research to identify specific behaviors that create financial conflict in relationships. Unlike generic quizzes, it diagnoses your primary issue and provides actionable interventions.

The Methodology

Questions are weighted by severity: critical behaviors (financial secrets, controlling patterns, blame/contempt) carry 5x weight; high-impact behaviors (avoidance, unresolved conflicts) carry 3x weight; moderate friction points carry 1x weight. This ensures dangerous patterns aren't masked by a "medium" average.

The Research Foundation

Interventions are based on established relationship research, including communication frameworks from couples therapy and financial therapy best practices. All guidance uses qualified language and avoids unverifiable claims.

Why This Assessment Is Different

Most compatibility quizzes ask you to rate yourself ("How good is your communication?"). The problem: people are terrible at accurately assessing their own behavior. You might think you're "pretty good" at money talks while your partner is silently frustrated.

Instead, this assessment presents specific situations and asks what actually happens. "When one of you makes a purchase the other didn't expect..." Your answer reveals the real pattern, not your self-perception.

Weighted Severity

Not all money conflicts are equal. Having different spending styles is manageable. Hiding accounts from your partner is relationship-threatening. This assessment weights behaviors by actual severity, so a serious issue doesn't get buried in a "medium risk" average.
